'Marketplace' is theme of Covenent Presbyterian Church day camp

"Marketplace," the Covenent Presbyterian Church's summer day camp, will be held Aug. 13-17, from 9 a.m. to noon. It's a week-long experience for children ages Kindergarten through 6th Grade, with special opportunities for junior and senior high school students.

A Bible-era marketplace with staff in period costumes is the environment "in which children have the opportunity to discover that the Christian faith

is a living relationship with a loving God." Children will travel in small group clusters (known as "tribes") to artisan markets where they will enjoy hands-on activities.
